1. Explain the goal of today's session to your client or employee and get them familiar with the board.

Review the 8 categories of our Wheel of Life Session in the board. The categories represent a view of a balanced and happy life. If your feel you need to add a new category if it's not already there - please add a new category. For example, some people want to separate the category Family and Friends into two separate categories. Some people want to add other categories like Financial Security, Volunteering, Emotional Health and Physical Wellbeing, Community, Leadership, etc. In general terms, our 8 categories include the following: Family and Friends: Include Family and Friends Significant Other: This category includes "Dating", "Relationship" or "Life Partner" Career: This category includes "Work", "Business" or "Volunteering". Finances: This category includes "Money", "Financial Security" or/and "Financial Wellbeing". Health: This category includes "Emotional", "Physical", "Fitness", "Spiritual" or/and "Wellbeing". Home Environment: This category includes "Work Environment" for career or/and business clients. Fun & Leisure Personal Growth: This category includes "Learning",” Reading”, “School/University”, "Self-Development" or/and "Spiritual"

2. Review the board and our 8 Categories.

Review all the categories and ensure you are satisfied with the options available on the wheel.

•Career
•Money
•Fun and Leisure
•Health
•Friends & Family
•Significant other
•Personal Growth
•Home environment

Optional: Add additional categories that are important to you. These categories represent a view of a balanced and happy life. For example, maybe you want to separate the category Family and Friends into two separate categories. Maybe you want to add additional categories like Financial Security, Volunteering, Emotional Health and Physical Wellbeing, Community, Leadership, etc.

3. Move the blue line across each category that represents your current satisfaction score for each category.

Imagine the center of the wheel is a 0 and the outside is a 5. Choose a value between 0 or 5 (5=very satisfied).

Make sure you add the line wherever thought pops into your head without overthinking. Do not add the number that you think it should be or you've rationally chosen try and be as honest and true to this number as possible.

Work on the whiteboardWheel of Life
4. The shape of the wheel

Once you are done, present the wheel of life they created. Ask yourself - "What do I see?" Is their wheel round or is their life going to be a bumpy ride?

Questions you can ask yourself: How do you feel about your current life wheel? Are any categories surprising to them? What are you struggling with the most? How do you currently spend time in these areas? How would you like to spend time in these areas? What would make that score 10? What would a score of 10 look like? Which of these categories would you like to improve? How are you going to make time for these changes? Can support from others help? Who and how can they help you? What changes do you need to make first? If there was one key action you could take to bring everything into balance, what would it be? Let’s create a list of 3 actions you can work on next week for each category that will help you find your balance. (Make sure to think about small steps)

5. The shape of your wheel

What do you think when you look at your wheel of life?

Write a note
6. Take action

Choose 3 areas you want to improve. Create a list of 1 to 3 actions (for each area) you could take that will begin to bring everything into balance and make you happier. Tips: Think of actions as small steps.

1. Review coach preparation notes

Before opening this discovery session with the client, review their intake diagnostic data and recent reflections from the Life Wheel.

Keep these coaching anchors top of mind:

•Elicit, don't prescribe: Listen for recurring emotional resonance, energetic shifts, and peak stories rather than intellectualized ideals.
•Differentiate shoulds from core values: Watch out for inherited familial or social obligations masquerading as intrinsic values.
•Bridge to application: Keep every value tethered to behavioral evidence in daily routines and future vision.
Write a note
2. Select your core values

Scan the values below and choose the principles that feel most central to who you are at your best. Look beyond what you feel you ought to value and focus on what genuinely drives your fulfillment, vitality, and inner boundaries.

Select the 4 to 6 values that resonate most deeply, and add a comment to each chosen value with one word describing what it means to you.

Choose one or more
  • 🌿 Authenticity & Integrity
  • 🧭 Autonomy & Freedom
  • 🌱 Growth & Lifelong Learning
  • 🤝 Connection & Belonging
  • 💡 Creativity & Curiosity
  • ⚖️ Balance & Inner Peace
  • 🎯 Purpose & Impact
  • 🦁 Courage & Vulnerability
  • 🌻 Joy & Playfulness
  • 🛡️ Stability & Security
3. Unpack your peak moments

To discover where your chosen values show up organically, examine a specific peak life experience.

Recall a moment in your life when you felt completely fulfilled, aligned, and true to yourself. It could be a career milestone, a creative breakthrough, a quiet personal choice, or a relationship experience.

Reflect on that moment using this inquiry structure:

•The Scene: What was happening, and who was involved?
•The Feeling: What specific feelings of vitality or peace were present?
•The Value in Action: Which of your core values was fully honored in that moment?

Share your story below. React with 🌟 on your coach's comments or questions that spotlight hidden themes.

Write a note
4. Identify values friction and boundaries

Values become equally clear when they are compromised or suppressed. Recognizing values violations reveals non-negotiable boundaries.

Think of a recent time when you experienced intense frustration, burnout, resentment, or a sense of inner compromise.

Work through these reflective prompts:

1.The Friction: What expectation or circumstance triggered discomfort?
2.The Trampled Value: Which core value was silenced, compromised, or neglected?
3.The Boundary Gap: What boundary was missing, or what conversation was avoided?

Post your reflection below. We will use this to establish clear boundaries in your coaching roadmap.

Write a note
5. Draft your 3-year vision narrative

Now we project forward. Imagine stepping into your life 3 years from today, fully grounded in your core values.

Do not worry about the logistics or "how-to" mechanics yet; focus entirely on the qualitative picture of your life across these four dimensions:

•Work & Contribution: What are you creating, leading, or learning? How does it honor your need for impact or autonomy?
•Health & Energy: How do you feel in your body? What daily practices nourish your energy?
•Relationships & Community: Who surrounds you? What is the emotional depth of your connections?
•Lifestyle & Space: Where do you spend your days? How much room exists for joy, play, and stillness?

Write your narrative as if you are living it right now, using present tense ("I wake up...", "My days are centered around...").

Add notes
6. Synthesize your personal compass deliverable

Synthesize your work into your official Personal Compass and Vision Statement 1-2 page. Draw directly from your selected values, peak moments, boundary insights, and 3-year narrative to complete this exact format:

•My Top 3 Core Values & Behavioral Anchors:
◦Value 1: [Value name] — "I honor this daily by [specific behavior or practice]."
◦Value 2: [Value name] — "I honor this daily by [specific behavior or practice]."
◦Value 3: [Value name] — "I honor this daily by [specific behavior or practice]."
•My Non-Negotiable Boundary: One explicit line I draw to protect my energy and integrity.
•My 3-Year Vision Declaration: A 3 to 4 sentence North Star statement capturing the life I am actively creating.
•First Horizon Shift: One immediate mindset or habit shift I will make starting this week.

This document will serve as our benchmark for accountability throughout our coaching partnership.

1. Uncover Your Starting Point

Welcome. Before we jump into strategy or solutions, let's take a quick snapshot of where your focus is right now. To help us get grounded, what brings you to this session today?

Choose one or more
  • 🌫️ Overwhelm & Overthinking
  • ⏳ Procrastination & Hesitation
  • 🔋 Low Energy & Burnout
  • 🧭 Lack of Clarity or Direction
  • ⚡ High Stress & Crisis Reaction
2. Identify Your Emotional & Temporal Triggers

Now let's look at pattern recognition. High-stress or low-execution moments rarely happen completely at random—they usually attach themselves to specific times of day or internal states. When does this pattern tend to show up most strongly?

Choose one or more
  • 🌅 Every Morning
  • ☀️ Every Lunchtime
  • 🌇 Every Afternoon
  • 🌙 Every Night
3. What emotional state acts as the main trigger?
Choose one or more
  • 😰 Anxious
  • 🤯 Overwhelmed
  • ⏳ Rushed / Stressed
  • 🥱 Exhausted / Low Energy
  • 🤷 Unmotivated / Stuck
  • 😤 Frustrated / Angry
4. Separate Thoughts from Feelings

Now let's isolate the story your brain is telling you in those moments. Remember: an emotion is usually described in one word, while a thought is a sentence or narrative.

Tell me: when you feel that trigger hit, what is the exact sentence going through your head?

1. Welcome.

When we try to build habits, we often focus on what we want to achieve rather than who we wish to become. Real, sustainable transformation happens when your habits become a vote for your identity. Let's start by defining who you are building this system for.

Let's start here:

Complete this sentence:👉 'I am building a habit to become the kind of person who..."

Add notes
2. Map the Habit Trigger & Anchor

A habit needs an anchor—an existing cue in your day that tells your brain it's time to act. Without an anchor, a new habit relies purely on willpower, which runs out quickly.

Select and add comment with the following:

•Time-based (e.g., Every morning at 8:00 AM)
•Location-based (e.g., When I sit down at my desk)
•Preceding Action (e.g., Immediately after opening my laptop)
•Emotional state (e.g., When I feel overwhelmed by my inbox)
Choose one or more
  • 🌅 Every Morning
  • ☀️ Every Lunchtime
  • 🌇 Every Afternoon
  • 🌙 Every Night
3. Reduce Friction to Under 2 Minutes

The biggest mistake in habit building is making the initial step too large. We want to make the entry point so effortless that it's harder to skip than to do.

• Environment Setup (Preparing tools/space the night before)
•Rule of 2 Minutes (Scaling down the action to 2 minutes maximum)
•Eliminating Distractions (Blocking apps, clearing physical workspace)
•Accountability Hook (Sharing progress asynchronously)
Choose one
  • Option 1
  • Option 2
4. Commit to the Tracking Loop

You don't need a perfect streak; you need consistency in returning to the system. Never miss twice. Let's lock in your tracking routine right now.
