Plans, billing and AI credits

Every new workspace starts with a free trial of Nova Pro. After the trial you can stay on Nova Free or subscribe to Nova Pro. Nova AI Boost adds more AI credits when your team needs them.

What plans are there?

How does the free trial work?

• The Nova Pro trial starts when you set up your workspace. You do not need a credit card.
• Each account gets one trial.
• Nova emails you when the trial starts, before it ends and on the day it ends.
• The left menu shows that the trial is active, with a link to View plans.

What happens when the trial ends?

If you do not subscribe, your workspace moves to Nova Free. Your account and your work stay. Your team members and join link stay too. Pro features stop working until you subscribe.

What are the limits of the free plan?

Nova Free includes unlimited team members. It has a limited number of work sessions and projects. The limits can change over time, so the left menu shows the current limit for your workspace. When you go over it, sessions become read-only. To edit them again, delete some sessions or upgrade to Nova Pro.

Which features need Nova Pro?

Pro features show a PRO chip in the app. They include:

• Unlimited sessions and projects.
• Recurring sessions (Add Recurrence).
• Duplicating sessions.
• Private projects (Set project as private).
• Saving a project as a multi-session process.
• Process share codes.
• Adding workspace templates.
• Anonymous collaborators.
• Time tracking.
• Session branding.
• A weekly pool of AI credits for Nova AI chat and AI coworkers.

If you are in someone else's workspace, selecting a Pro chip offers Contact Workspace Admin To Get Pro. This opens an email to the workspace owner.

How do AI credits work?

Nova AI chat and AI coworkers use AI credits. Each workspace has one shared pool of credits that refills every week.

• Credits reset once a week. The usage card shows the next reset date. The pricing page lists the current allowance for each plan.
• See your usage under Profile → AI usage & features. It shows Remaining this week and Resets on.
• Nova reserves credits while AI work is in progress. Credits it does not use come back when the work finishes.
• When credits run out, Nova shows You're out of AI credits. AI coworkers pause until the weekly reset, or until you add Nova AI Boost.

How are seats billed?

On Nova Free, team members cost nothing, and you can add as many as you need. On Nova Pro, you pay for each seat. The workspace owner and each team member take a seat. Collaborators do not.

• On a monthly plan, your bill follows the number of team members.
• On an annual plan, members you add are billed when you add them. Members you remove are taken off at renewal.

How do I pay?

You can pay with any major credit card. Several other forms of payment are also supported. Payments are securely processed by Paddle, our merchant of record, so Paddle appears on your card statement. Paddle emails your receipt.

Can I get a refund?

Refunds are generally given only when you cancel within 48 hours of your first subscription. You can cancel at any time. After you cancel, Pro stays active until the end of the period you paid for. Then your workspace moves to Nova Free, and your data stays accessible.

How do I manage or cancel my subscription?

Open your profile and go to Subscriptions & team. From there you can:

• Upgrade or change subscription
• Manage my subscription
• Update payment method
• Cancel subscription

How do I export my data or close my account?

Email contact@novatools.org. Cancel any active subscription first.
